The 5th match of Zimbabwe series is on the line and its a do or die situation for India. This match is being presently played between India vs Sri Lanka.
If India needs to move on in the series then they must beat Sri Lanka in this match. India has till now claimed only one victory thats too against first match with Sri Lanka. While Sri Lanka has also won one match against Zimbabwe.
If Sri Lanka wins this match, then they will have two victories and Zimbabwe also two, but India with one - Hence out of the series. While if India wins, then Sri Lanka will have chance to defeat Zimbabwe in the last league match and decision will be based on run rate.
So the heat is on and the and all players are on field.
. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first. Batting fist India lost their first wicket as Ojha and second wicket as Karthik. India has made 118 after loss of two wickets after the end of 22nd over.At present, Kohli and Pathan are on field to play for India. Kohli is at 42 runs while Pathan is playing at 41 runs.
